We have a very enjoyable day collecting root sections by the river Garry on Atholl Estate today, along with staff from Edinburgh Zoo who are very enthusiasic about our project. This was an excellent opportunity for them to get some tuition in collecting aspen roots. We got eight clones today, including over 6 metres of good root from this stand beside the Garry. It was a beautiful spring day today.
